Come and Support Hector Alatorre!!

Hector ’71 and Dora Alatorre, Distinguished Alumnus Award

Hector and Dora Alatorre have been steadfast supporters of Catholic education ever since their own days as students at Salesian (’71) and Sacred Heart (‘70). Over the last two decades, their leadership within the Salesian Alumni Association has helped raise more than $500,000 for tuition assistance programs. From 2008 to 2014, Hector and Dora served as volunteer directors of the Salesian athletic department. Their office door was always open to the hundreds of students whom Hector and Dora cared for and mentored.

Richelle Rios-Huizar, Public Service and Volunteerism Award

Richelle Rios-Huizar served as Development Director at Salesian High School during a time of tremendous growth in the school’s fund raising program. Richelle’s efforts professionalized our gala dinner, phonathon, and alumni outreach. As a result of her work, hundreds of young men have been able to attend Salesian High School. Richelle resides in Boyle Heights with her husband, Los Angeles City Councilman José Huizar, and their son Simón and three daughters, Emilia, Isabella and Aviana.

San Antonio Winery

The San Antonio Winery remains the oldest and largest producing winery in Los Angeles with 100 years of winemaking, making it an essential component of the city’s cultural and historical landscape. Still sitting on its original location on Lamar Street, the winery is the last vestige of the rich winemaking tradition of the greater Los Angeles. The San Antonio Winery and the Riboli family have been generous supporters of the gala dinner for many years.

Calling All

Once A Mustang

Together, we can contribute to a sculptured Mustang monument that demonstrates the Don Bosco Pride and Spirit for past, present and future Mustangs. The sculptor, Dan Medina '86, has developed the Mustang model and can be viewed at Salesian High School. We encourage you to watch the video and contribute today.
